Information we collect

When you sign up, we collect the email address you enter. You do not need to submit any other personal information to join the list.

When you visit or interact with the page, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect information about your visit, such as your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, referring page, advertising or campaign parameters, pages viewed, interactions with the page, and whether a signup occurred. Analytics tools may use cookies or similar technologies to recognize a browser and measure visits.

If you enter or submit a video prompt, we may collect the prompt and related generation settings. We use this information to understand what people want to create and to evaluate and develop the product.

We may use session replay and similar analytics technologies that record or reconstruct how visitors interact with the page. We configure these tools to mask email-address fields and other sensitive form fields.

How we use information

We use your email address to let you know when the product is ready and to contact you about possible trial access.

We may offer a newsletter in the future. If we do, we will ask you to opt in before sending it; joining this list does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

We use submitted prompts, generation settings, and visit and interaction data to understand how people find and use the page, understand what kinds of videos people want to create, measure signup performance, evaluate demand for the product, troubleshoot problems, improve the user experience, and guide product development.

Sharing

We may use service providers to host the page, store the signup list, send emails, and provide analytics. They may process the information described above to provide those services.

We do not sell personal information.

Your choices and retention

You can ask us to stop contacting you and delete your email address at any time by emailing privacy@madewithmontage.com. We will also include an unsubscribe option in our marketing emails.

We keep your email address while we use this signup list for launch announcements or trial outreach, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If we no longer need the list, we will delete it.

We retain submitted prompts and analytics information for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and develop the product, understand usage, and improve our services. We may also retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies individual visitors.

You can use your browser settings to limit cookies. Where required, we will ask for your consent before using nonessential analytics cookies or similar technologies.

Changes

If our data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date. If we want to use information already collected for a materially different purpose, we will notify affected users and seek any consent required before doing so.
